Samsung is prepping up to launch the Galaxy Tab S8 series tablet. The Galaxy Tab 8 lineup is said to consist of three tablets – Samsung Galaxy Tab S8, Samsung Galaxy Tab S8+, and Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra. The design and renders of all three upcoming Samsung tablets have already been leaked on the internet. Now, the Galaxy Tab S8+ with model number SM-X808U has been spotted on Geekbench 5 benchmark database. The Geekbench database listing confirms that the upcoming Galaxy Tab S8+ will be powered by a top-tier Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. Samsung Galaxy S8+ will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1

The Samsung SM-X808U has scored 1223 points in the single-core test of the Geekbench 5 benchmark. Whereas the multi-core score is 3195 points in the same test. The Geekbench listing also reveals that the upcoming Galaxy Tab S8+ will be equipped with an octa-core processor with a 1+3+4 core configuration and codename taro. This confirms that the Galaxy Tab S8+ will be equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. To those unaware, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 is built on a 4nm fabrication process and comes equipped with an X2 prime core.

Apart from it, the Geekbench 5 listing also confirms the presence of 8GB of RAM on the upcoming tablet. It will come pre-loaded with Android 12, but as usual, OneUI skin will be on top of it. The Galaxy Tab S8+ is said to offer a 12.4-inch AMOLED display panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. It might come only in one configuration – 8GB + 128GB. It is said to retail in two color variants – Dark Gray and Silver. The upcoming tablet is said to be equipped with a 10,090mAh battery. The company is said to launch the 5G as well as WiFi-only variant of the Galaxy Tab S8+.
