After rolling out the November Android security patch update for several devices, OnePlus has now started rolling out the update for OG OnePlus Nord. The new update for the OnePlus Nord is rolling out in India, Europe, as well as North America. The update is based on Android 11 and comes with firmware version OxygenOS 220.127.116.11. OnePlus took it to the OnePlus Community forum to make an announcement for the same. Let us take a detailed look at what the new update has in the store for the OnePlus Nord users.

OnePlus Nord OxygenOS 22.214.171.124 update brings with it November 2021 Android security patch and also improves system stability. Along with the November Android security patch, the update also fixes the call forwarding failure issue and OTA update weighs about 376MBs in size. Take a look at the changelogs below,

As per the community forum post, the update is rolling out with firmware version 126.96.36.199.AC01DA for OnePlus Nord users in India. Whereas the update carries firmware version 188.8.131.52.AC01BA and 184.108.40.206.AC01BA in European and North American regions respectively.
OnePlus has confirmed that the OTA roll out incremental. This means OTA will be available for a small percentage of users, and the broader rollout will begin after a few days. The company advises users to ensure at least 3GBs of free storage and 30% battery before installing the update. To check for the update, users can head over to Settings -> ABout Device -> System Update page.
OnePlus Nord is eligible to receive the Android 12 based OxygenOS 12 update. However, the timeline for the same is not revealed specifically by the company yet.
